I have a Dell Latitude e6510 laptop which came with a Broadcom 1501 wireless card which is completely incompatible with a hackintosh installation. I can tell you definitively after hours of research that the only solution to this problem is to replace the wireless “card” with a compatible model.
The desirable model for me was an almost identical model number called the Broadcom 1510 (not the 1501). I opened up my e6510 laptop and removed the hinges and put the new chip in the place of then old one.
It was immediately recognized by both Mac and Windows without any manual driver installation. Fantastic.
